Henry is the founding partner of the firm H. L. Leung & Co. and is one of the few active pioneers in the profession. After qualifying in 1958, Henry worked at Peat, Marwick and Mitchell (now KPMG). He left in 1968 to set up his own firm.
In 2000, H. L. Leung & Co. became a member firm of PKF International - since known as PKF Hong Kong. In 2007, PKF Hong Kong merged with China Daxin Certified Public Accountants Co., Ltd. and was renamed Daxin H. L. Leung (Hong Kong) & Co., with its English name remaining as PKF Hong Kong Limited.
As a Senior Partner, Henry is responsible for the management and development of the firm, alongside the development of China-related business. He is a keen practitioner of advanced Tai Chi Chuan (太極拳), a traditional Chinese martial art that coordinates mind, body, and spirit to achieve control of internal energy or Chi (氣).
